Our Tequila won two gold medals in the 2009 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

That year, there were a record number of entries: 1106 products from 61 countries, evaluated by 33 of the finest palates in the spirits review industry.

The judging panels are comprised of spirits experts from noted restaurants and hotels, well-known spirits journalists from major national media, spirits buyers for large purveyors, and spirits consultants. Judging is based on a blind, consensual procedure ensuring competitive integrity, making this competition the most reputable and recognized competition in the spirits industry.

We entered our Tequilas, even though we were not quite ready to bring it to market in more than a handful of the United States, because everyone associated with our small company who tasted the particular Tequila recipe designed by our distillery and consultants went bonkers. Whoah! It was really, really tasty.

Sure enough, the international experts validated our instincts. We won two gold medals in the competition that year.
